I graduated from the Department for Mass Communication and Media at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Greece) and in more than 20 years of experience working as a journalist, I have worked mainly for magazines, as well as newspapers, radio stations and internet portals. I have worked for the ANT1 Group (“Daphne Communications”) for 8 consecutive years, for the Liberis Media Group ("House & Garden” Magazine) and for other media groups where I held primarily staff positions. Since 2009 I have been working on a freelance basis, supporting clients in the fields of public relations, event management and promotion, marketing copywriting, proof reading, publishing, social media. I have worked as a Communication Director for well known educational and gastronomy festivals and as a Press Office Manager for various cultural, social, medical and corporate actions and events.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

COMMUNICATION & PUBLIC RELATIONS (11/03/2009 – Present)

COMMUNICATION DIRECTOR (Description of work): Press Office, Media Sponsorships, Publicity (Press Releases, Publications in magazines, newspapers, websites and blogs, Radio & Television Coverage). Defined and implemented the communication plan. Liaised with journalists. Established and maintained a network of media contacts. Coordinated all the informational and promotional material. Drafted and presented articles, interviews, press releases, newsletters. Provided proof reading services. Contributed to the development of the websites, as well as the social media management.

▪Project "Interventions to eliminate violence and harassment in the world of work" by the Research Center for Gender Equality (KETHI), which is part of the Operational Program "Human Resource Development, Education and Lifelong Learning" 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund ESF) and Greek national funds. Publicity of the project's actions. Raising awareness among the general public. Organization of five Conventions and one Scientific Conference - Social Media management. (November 2022 – present)
